Azem is a well known and deeply respected member of the Shepparton community, dedicating his life to helping others without expecting anything in return.
Each week, he runs soup kitchens that provide meals, support, and a safe space for hundreds of people experiencing hardship, homelessness, or food insecurity. Beyond this, he continues ongoing outreach work, regularly showing up in the community to make sure no one is left behind.
Many locals also know Azem as the long standing owner of Lutfiyes, a restaurant that has served Shepparton since 1990. Alongside his business, he is often seen out the front of Kmart in Shepparton, personally cooking and providing meals to those who need them most.
We are continually being asked to shed light on his work and help support him financially so he can continue his efforts without carrying the full burden himself.
This fundraiser has been created to help support Azem’s ongoing community work and ensure he can keep doing what he does best, caring for people in need.
